- From the M6 At Junction 36 come off motorway onto the
A590 heading west (large dual carriageway signposted - Kendal/South Lakes).
- After approx. 3 miles, take the slip road off to the left, down to the
roundabout, and turn left again onto another dual carriageway (signposted
for Barrow/Grange).
- Continue for approx 5 miles then turn left at first roundabout.
- After about 2 minutes you pass a VW/Audi dealer on the right,
follow a small signpost telling you to go left, yet again, for Grange-o-Sands, bearing left
at the mini-roundabout. (New Garage/Showroom on right immediately after left turn).
- Just keep going - straight through Grange bearing left at the 2 mini-roundabouts.
- Carry on through the next small village called Allithwaite, passing pubs called
the "The Guide-Over Sands", then the "Pheasant Inn".
- As you enter Flookburgh you will pass 2 pubs on the right The Crown and then the Hope and Anchor.
Turn left immediately after passing the Hope and Anchor.
- This is the final road to the parachute centre. Take the 2nd left off
this road after passing 2 Garages on the left. If you look closely you will
see a sign, on the left for the Parachute Centre.
