Restrictions

Weight restrictions

Weight limits apply to all courses and centres.  These are strictly monitored for safety reasons.  The standard weight limit for the Tandem skydive is 15 stone/approx 95kgs.
If you are over this weight limit please contact us for further information at info@tandemjump.co.uk

We use a height to weight ratio for solo courses.  Please refer to the BMI ( Body Mass Index ) chart shown on the solo medical form to check the maximum weight for your height.
BMI is used by all UK centres for solo courses.

We are not able to accept bookings from anyone who is over the relevant weight limit.

Age restrictions

The minimum age to do any type of skydive in the UK is 16.
Under 18’s must have a consent form and medical form signed by a parent or guardian.

There is no upper age limit for the Tandem skydive.

There is an upper age limit of 50 for solo courses.

Anyone aged 40 or over must have either the Tandem medical form or
Solo medical form signed by their GP.

We strongly advise that this is done prior to placing a booking.
Signed medical forms are handed in on arrival at the centre on the day of your jump.

Health restrictions

There are certain conditions which may prevent you from skydiving.
Please see the Tandem medical form or Solo medical form for details.
You would need to have the relevant medical form signed by your GP if you suffer from ( or have suffered from ) any of the conditions listed.

For safety reasons your Instructor has the final decision on your suitability to do the jump.
