The Tandem Skydive
Would you like to see our sport at its best but don’t want to do hours of training ?
Then the Tandem skydive is for you ! The Tandem is ideal if you want to give a great gift, jump for charity or treat yourself to an unforgettable day out !
With a short training brief of about 20 minutes you can jump from an altitude of 10,000ft or more. Securely harnessed to a highly experienced BPA Instructor you will spend 30 seconds or more in freefall. You will reach a speed of around 120 miles per hour !
Your Instructor opens the large square parachute at around 5,000ft. You will then spend several minutes under canopy. This will give you a great chance to take in the view and wave to your spectators !
You can even choose to have your jump filmed. This is arranged and paid for on arrival at the centre.
Comfortable clothing is advisable and trainers are ideal footwear.
A jumpsuit will be worn over your clothing along with goggles and headgear.
All of which are provided by the centre.
Weight limits apply. Please refer to the section marked restrictions.
The minimum age to do any type of skydive in the UK is 16. There is no upper age limit. Anyone aged 40 or over must have a BPA medical form signed by their GP.
